Jean Van’t Hul founded The Artful Age in 2008 and spent more than a decade inspiring families around the world to bring creativity, connection, and joy into everyday life. Through her hands-on projects, thoughtful guidance, and deep belief that every child is born creative, she built one of the most trusted resources in children’s art and family creativity. Legacy Note: Although Jean is no longer involved in the day-to-day work of the site, her writing remains at the heart of Artful Parent. Her original posts are preserved here as part of the site’s creative legacy — a foundation we’re honored to continue building on for today’s families.
